A cobbler by trade, Icarus ignores his customers' shoes and works instead on crafting a pair of goose feather wings held together by wax. His wife wrings her cloven hoofs, the landlord (fittingly a wolf) is at the door demanding the rent, and the only one who believes in this portly Icarus' seemingly impossible dream is his small son Robin. The dream miraculously bears fruit, with predictable results when the triumphant porker flies too high.
